Fairy tale therapy is increasingly being used when working with preschool and early elementary school children. The therapy involves using literary texts from fairy tales for educational as well as therapeutic purposes.

Since ancient times fairy tales have been motivating and supportive. They aim to show the child that sadness, failure and fear are normal. Fairy tales are constructed so that each of us, especially a child, could find a piece of himself in them.

Fairy tale therapy as a therapeutic method

In order to see how fairy tale therapy has an important impact on children’s lives, it is worth taking part in the workshop “Fairy tale therapy as a therapeutic method supporting child development”. During the workshop we will learn how to evoke the development of imagination and positive emotional states on the basis of a therapeutic fairy tale

In addition we will learn sample programs of therapeutic fairy tales. They use elements of ludotherapy, choreotherapy, psychodrama – all based on the content of fairy tales.
